Who was Merrilyn Lingren? 
Merrilyn was a one in a million person. She loved God, her family, dogs, books and people. God used Merrilyn in Therese's life to remind her that she was valued and loved. Merrilyn noticed a shy little girl and never forgot her, making constant intentional deposits of kindness and care; changing Therese's life. ​

"Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing." ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:11 AMPC

Ongoing and New Projects:

• Providing meals for two specific families in Cuba during Covid19 lockdown (2021)
• Providing books for small lending libraries for churches in Cuba (2020/21)
• Caribbean Missionary Kids (Assemblies of God) Grubstake Initiative: investing in Missionary Kid business ideas. (Mining the gold in their lives) (2021)

One Time Giving Projects: 

• Small donation for a college athlete traveling to Alaska on a missions trip through Cru (summer 2021)

Vision Statement (the WHAT): We want to honor Merrilyn's legacy and give intentional small donations to needs that will help change lives in her name. ​

Purpose Statement (the WHY): To change lives. Period. In other words paying attention to people, really seeing them, remembering them, and changing their life with small thoughtful acts of kindness and care.

Mission Statement (the HOW): To give small donations to different campaigns, causes, individuals, missionaries, missionary kids, and students; in the United States, Cuba, or globally. Merrilyn loved dogs so the initiative will also invest in dog rescue efforts in the United States and in Cuba. Donations will include money, books, or specific items needed by an organization. ​
